On October 23, 2021, Loomian Legacy Developer Lando64000 tweeted out the following tweet saying:
While many people were supportive & wishing for Brad's family, others were upset and very upset that brad put his family above Loomian Legacy. Such as: "IDFC HE SAID SATURDAY," "BRO WHY DO THEY HAVE TO DELAY THE UPDATE," "It's probably fake just to make the community feel sorry for brad but he cant script," "Imagine choosing family," and so many other hateful things. Because of this a lot of the members Loomian Legacy Community was seen fighting each other, send threats, and so much more. Some Loomian Legacy influencers were also upset at the situation and said:
LuckyHD - "Dead*ss gonna block anyone who starts complaining that the update got delayed, Tbradms family got sick and you need to respect that Health comes before any LL update. Always.
PokeNova - "Some of the sh*t yall be saying is disgusting. Some people are really out here COMPLAINING about the delay even though brads family is sick, even going so far as to say how much they don't care about brads family and that they only care about the update. I can't believe some people."
LilHotPocket - Anyone whos complaining about the event being delayed needs to realize a few things. Brad is taking care of his sick family instead of working on a lego game complaining abt scripters isn't gonna change anything yall need to touch grass instead of crying."
Some of the members that said such things had admitted that they were joking.
